About the Institution
Overview
The Global Training Hub for Biomanufacturing Support Foundation was established following the WHO's designation of Korea as a Global Training Hub for Biomanufacturing.
Centered on the Global Bio Campus, the Foundation develops talent for vaccine and biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Through international cooperation and policy support, we contribute to stronger global health security.

- Global Bio Campus practical training on mRNA vaccine manufacturing (26 participants)
- KOR-IDB training on biopharmaceutical production processes (16 participants)
- Practical training on biopharmaceutical GMP (17 participants)
- Practical training on upstream processing for cell-based viral vaccines (14 participants)
- Sep. 17 Held a side event for the World Bio Summit 2025
- Training Outcome: 1,007 trainees from 49 countries completed 49 programs

- RF training on vaccine production processes (41 participants)
- Global Bio Campus practical training on mRNA vaccine manufacturing (18 participants)

- May 21 Established as a nonprofit foundation
- Sep. 23 Held the Foundation launch ceremony
- Nov. 12 Held the opening ceremony for the Global Bio Campus (GBC)
- Training Outcome: 1,187 trainees from 49 countries completed 49 programs

- IDB practical training on vaccine and biopharmaceutical production processes for Latin America (40 participants)
- May 26 Signed a MOU on GTH-B between the WHO and the MOHW
- June 18 MOHW designated the GBC and 5 network campuses
- Training Outcome: 754 trainees from 38 countries completed 49 programs
- Practical Trainings
- ADB training on vaccine production processes for the Asia Pacific region (59 participants)
- ADB on-site training for Asian trainees (34 participants)
- May 26 Signed a MOU on GTH-B between the WHO and the MOHW
- Feb. 23 WHO designated Korea as GTH-B
